To foster a positive behavior support system and build a sense of community among our students, we have created five communities at our school.

Each student belongs to one community for their time here at WNIS.

Throughout the year, we focus on character education by creating service-minded events for our students and communities.

Erubesco (Respect)

Officium (Responsibility)

Fidelis (Loyalty)

Animus (Courage).

Each month, classes can earn

PBIS MODEL CLASSROOMS

and/or

NAVIGATOR LUNCH TABLE WINNERS

Students are recognized by earning Navigator Bucks when a student displays virtues of any of the five communities.

During the school year, teachers recognize a students for Student of the Quarter. These children and their families are invited to an assembly where the administrators read direct quotes from the teacher of how this child has displayed outstanding Community traits.
